My Students
Do you remember the first time you created an amazing arts and crafts project that you couldn't wait to share with the world?
My students are 23 beautiful and curious second graders. Although they are considered economically disadvantaged, they do not know it. They have a rich desire to learn and do their best. My students love coming to school where they feel safe and secure in a place where they receive daily doses of knowledge, encouragement, and friendship.
My Project
Our district does the best they can to provide basic materials at the start of the year. However, at this stage of the academic year, our classroom needs a desperate replenishment of basic supplies like pens, folders, markers and tape. Our markers are in high demand (especially red, blue and green). Please help our classroom be even more efficient by gifting us with these basics, and other extra special supplies.
Donor stars like you are so important to classrooms like ours. While some classrooms receive parental donations, this is not the case with most high poverty neighborhoods. All students deserve an opportunity to advance and grow, so please help give my 23 a chance too. Thank you! :)
