My Students

I absolutely LOVE teaching my class! My students are in incredibly hard-working group. They LOVE learning and always want more challenges.

My class is the most deserving group of children that I've ever had the privilege to serve.

My 4th grade students are caring, innovative, and outgoing learners. They come from diverse backgrounds from all around the world. My students love exploring and being real-life scientist, while building social and academic skills. They are creative problem solvers who work diligently everyday at are low socioeconomic school. We are grateful and excited to have this opportunity to get our project funded. Thank you in advance for donating to our classroom.

My Project

Learning through play is a great way for students to learn and develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.

Learning through play encourages COMMUNICATION.

Children’s speech and language develops at different rates. You may not always know the best way to get them talking more, but what you may not realise is that play could be the answer that you are looking for. Playing means that they will often need to express themselves, which encourages their communication skills. It also helps them to express emotions and understand different roles, which can also be a big help.

Learning through play HELPS THEM TO BUILD FRIENDSHIPS AND RELATIONSHIPS. There is no better person for a child to play with than another child. This means that they can really explore new approaches to imaginative play and get ideas from one another. It is also a great way to encourage them to work on their social skills, their concept of sharing and also help them to learn how to build friendships too. All of these things are valuable tools for when they are at school, and of course for later life too.

Learning through play helps students build CONTENT KNOWLEDGE. My students will be learning math, social studies, and reading skills in a different way. They will enjoy learning and playing together.
