Help me give my students some mouthpieces, so others can learn to play music

Every one of my students has their own story, some will make you laugh, and some will bring tears to your eyes. As an instructor in a high crime and poverty, but low in finances and resources, city, I try to create a safe haven for them to escape their harsh reality, so they can be free from their harsh reality, even if it’s just for a moment. That’s a moment of freedom and no stress that they might not have had before. It may be a time for some to smile.
In their eyes is a spark of hope.
They are growing and learning in the same small, tight-knit, music community that inspired me to be a teacher. Forming a band family sometimes feels better than their biological family. They are adventurous, risk takers, bold, free, and inquisitive. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are the future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
"Mr. R, can I play the Saxophone?? Mr. R, Can I play the Trumpet?" These are two questions that I dread, because either I don't have the instruments for them, or the instruments I have are damaged beyond repair, and there's no money to repair nor replace.
These young voices shouldn't be stifled because of the lack of supplies.
The funding I am able to get goes to music and trying to repair whatever I can, but it's not enough for everything. These mouthpieces will allow more of my students to begin to experience the wonderful and beautiful world of music.
