I have the pleasure of teaching 15 amazing Kindergarteners at a Title I school in Sarasota. My students consist of various ethnicities, languages, and learning needs. This is my fourth year teaching and second year in Sarasota. Although I have recreated and reformed the four white walls I was given at the beginning of the school year, I know there is still so much more I can do. I want to do everything I can to create the highest success possible for my students.
I realized, one way I can create success is by attending an extensive and self-lifting training that will not only aid me to be the best teacher I can be but help provide my students what they need as well.
My Project
I cannot begin to describe how hopeful I am to attend this amazing, life-changing conference! I have been wanting to attend Get Your Teach On since I first started teaching. Not only is it important for the success of my students, but it allows the opportunity for teachers to get pumped about teaching!
This conference is FULL of research-based strategies that will motivate, excite, and ignite my students passion for all subject areas!
There is nothing better than knowing I will be able to reach my students with engaging strategies that will match our curriculum and finally meet the creative, talented author of it all.
My goals for this conference are to learn how I can bring the curriculum to life using a little pixie dust! I will also be able to learn about standards integration across all content areas for ideas to create environments of high academic rigor and student engagement!
