Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school serves students in grades PK-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.
I teach at a Title I school in Southern California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
One challenge is providing student name plates for them to refer to as a model when learning how to print their names correctly.
My students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
I want my students to have everything they need and deserve to have to make their school year exciting and fun, as well as productive and successful throughout the entire year.
New nameplates, sentence strips and name tag pocket chart are needed so that we can label our desks.
These various materials are key to my students when learning how to write their names correctly and recognize their first and last names through out the classroom.
Please help my students enjoy learning through all these materials. They love learning and need these materials to keep learning throughout the rest of the school year.
