My students each need a dry erase marker (84 total) to be able to practice math computation in an engaging way that allows me, as their teacher, to instantly see who needs extra help.

My students need to practice! I teach 7th grade math at a charter school in Indiana, where more than 80% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Now that we are in 7th grade and getting ready for college in 2015, we are learning more advanced computation that takes a lot of practice to master. When we try to practice together as a class, time is often wasted because we do not have enough dry-erase markers for all students to practice on their individual white boards.
With 84 new dry-erase markers, my students will be actively engaged in "4-step practice." The first step is to listen to the given problem. The second step - they should work out the problem and record their solution on their whiteboards. On 3, all students hold their individual white boards in the air, allowing me to get a very quick sense of who is mastering the objective and who needs more attention. On 4, the students erase their boards and prepare for the next question. New markers will allow every student the opportunity to participate in the practice that is so vital to mastery.
You will give every student in our classroom the opportunity to practice beyond perfection. You will also enable each student to receive the individual attention that they need, because with these markers, I am able to see who needs the help and am able to be there to give it.
