In my Kindergarten classroom, we love to have fun! I love to teach to my students the best way I know how; by being silly! I love to research and find new practices to help my students achieve their goals. I have LOVED the 3 years that I have spent at my school, and I am so glad that I have found my passion in teaching Kindergarten.
My students' reactions as they gather new information is my most favorite part of my job.
I also enjoy movement and moving around as much as possible. I have grown as a teacher by analyzing the needs of my students FIRST AND FOREMOST and by taking the time to build those essential relationships. My students are the main reason why I want to better myself as an educator. They are my kids too, and I want what is best for them!
My Project
Attending the Get Your Teach On (GYTO) Educators Conference will be an amazing professional development opportunity for me! I will get to experience some of the most current research based strategies that will help me reach my full potential as an educator. During the conference, I will have the opportunity to share my passion and enthusiasm for teaching with incredible educators from around the United States.
Not only will attending this conference be a huge teacher "pick-me-up," it will also get me excited for the years to come.
I love researching new and improved teaching strategies. What better way to research than with one of the best in the business, Deanna Jump. Her amazing resources have inspired me to become a better educator for my students. I have learned to think more about what my students need and how I can provide that for them. This conference will help prepare me to become a passionate and enthusiastic educator!
