Help me give my students the opportunity to continue learning about plants by giving them greenhouses to practice the skills in.

My students are special needs middle school students on the Autism Spectrum. The students are at various level of independence in self care and cognitive development. I believe in these students and I believe in gardening.
I love that each student's learning style is so unique and that they approach every activity differently.
I love that each day is totally different from the the day before.
They are my scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians. They are my investigators, tasters, testers, experimenters, artists, and explorers.
Having greenhouses would meet the needs, values and interest of my students. The greenhouses will allow the students to participate in different learning styles across the curriculum aspects. Student will engaged in all aspects of gardening from traditional gardening to hydroponic and aquaponics. Students will be able to engage in math skills by measuring liquids and observing and charting plant growth. Literacy skills will be engaged by recording data and writing about plant relationship to the environment. Social Studies skills will develop by exploring the history and culture of plants and seeds. Science skills will explored by experiments with planting techniques and studying plant life cycles The students will be taste, touch, and smell everything the garden. The greenhouses will be a hands on environment where everyone can participate. The greenhouses will accommodate all learning styles and levels.
