This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students here at HMS exemplify what it means to be a Mountain Cat everyday! Every student here strives to be a great well rounded student academically, emotionally and socially.

The materials collected such as bean bags, snack, and grief journals will be used to create a safe and welcoming environment for our students to process their emotions.

This space will be used for social and emotional groups during lunchtime. In our groups, we will tackle issues such as anxiety, depression, peer relationships and more!
