My Students
My students are an inquisitive group who constantly take a classroom discussion further - not because they are distracted, but because they are so curious about various topics. Within our class are thirty bright minds with thirty unique perspectives.
Because they also carry a growth mindset, a popular question my students ask is, "Can I try this to challenge myself?"
They are conscientious and compassionate individuals who recognize justice and strive to be a better version of themselves each day.
My Project
A full and well-rounded education doesn't just happen in the classroom; it can also happens outdoors. Our students participate in a grade-wide softball tournament as part of their last hurrah before promoting to middle school. They learn how to play the game and practice good sportsmanship while fine-tuning their motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
A set of softball gloves to use can enhance their game-play while making sure students stay safe.
My students love to learn and challenge themselves, and a tool to help them learn a new sport safely would greatly benefit them. Not only will this benefit this year's students, but future students, as well.
