Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students in preschool love to be active and move. Each day regardless of the weather, we try go outside to the enclosed porch to play. We are able to use the porch when the temperatures are above 32 degrees. The great thing about the porch is that we can use it when it rains.

Preschool children need to be physically active each day.

It increases their memory, perception, attention, language and decision making skills.

My students love to play ball and practice their throwing, catching and kicking skills. The balls I am requesting will allow my students to practice their aiming, rolling, bouncing and tracking skills. The balls can improve their social skills too. Playing ball can help facilitate simple games such as rolling, throwing and kicking the ball to one another. The pump I am requesting will allow me to blow the balls up quickly and easily .
