We are a tight-knit neighborhood school with an amazing group of eager learners. Our learners form a diverse group of students with a variety of nationalities and academic needs and over 20 different languages spoken. We are a Title I school where both the staff and students take pride in our diversity. We are a school focused on problem-solving, social and emotional learning, as well as furthering their learning in reading and math.
We are a classroom full of children ready to be challenged with new ideas, investigative thinking, and problem-solving.
In order to be successful, my students need various tools and resources to reach the world beyond our walls, as well as to focus on the learning taking place in the room. As their teacher, I am focused on providing each student the opportunity to be successful, feel safe in their school environment, empower them to be proud of who they are, as well as helping each of them reach their highest potential.
My Project
As a teacher of a 100% fully remote classroom, there is not enough time in the day to meet my students' needs fully. I work long hours and still don't feel like I have the time to create what I need to use for my lessons. With these gift cards I can purchase pre-made lessons to use with my students.
Students need engaging lessons that are well thought out to help them learn and focus!
I enjoy creating these lessons myself, however during this time of remote learning I feel stretched thin. Having some Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards I can use the pre-made lessons to enhance what I am already doing with my students.
