My Students

Teaching at a Title I school, more than half of my students come from low socioeconomic households. My students range from very independent learners to very dependent and full of social and emotional needs. Needless to say, nothing stops them from learning and growing throughout the year. In addition, my students are very eager learners and love a good challenge to keep them motivated and learning. My students enjoy sharing many experiences with me and are always asking questions! We love learning new things every day!

My Project

In the post-Covid classroom, we do not get to share toys so having a full larger set of Legos and building plates will help my students to have more to choose from when it is their turn at the Legos.

We will use these Legos in our classroom on an individual basis when the students have completed their assignments for the day, and they will get some creative building time.

This really motivates the students to complete their work and allows for some of the all-important socialization time in our classroom.
