We are the first grade Super Heroes. We are a diverse group of high energy kids that love to have fun. The superheroes are thoughtful friends. They treat each other with respect and have an awesome attitude. We cooperate with our classmates and friends by helping each other and using mindful communication. Like superheroes, we always practice safe choices and are careful with our bodies.
We are full of gratitude and practice mindfulness every day.
We love to learn, grow, and take care of ourselves. We also take care of each other, our community, and our planet.
My Project
We earn time in class to build, explore, and create independently. Our classroom currently has a very small lego set and we would love to have more. Our current set is too popular to fit our classrooms needs. Throughout the year students work on personal projects and are able to continue working on the same or multiple projects throughout the year. Legos are a fun incentive but also help develop many skills essential to elementary students. We love to learn, have fun, and be creative, and legos are the perfect tool to fit those needs. We are very grateful for your generosity!
