My Students

Our students need to have their minds opened up to many possibilities for their future! We teach students with special needs. They are amazing students with such a yearning for education. Our goal with this project is to open their minds and hearts to a future with Technology, Math, and Science! We are wanting to bring STEAM items to our classrooms and show our students that they CAN overcome their disabilities and turn them into abilities! They have the ability to make a difference in their world and future! Our students have learning disabilities, autism, down syndrome, and more. They are amazing kids and we cannot wait to open up their world! They love LEGOS and we feel this is a great way to get them started by using LEGOS for Education! Thank you in advance for supporting our project!

My Project

LEGOs are an amazing way to open up the world of possibilities for children. I will be able to teach them Math using the things they love, LEGOs! My students will learn cooperative play as they build things together. When they complete a building project, they will have a sense of accomplishment! That builds their self-confidence. They will build their fine motor skills. They will learn persistence as they work on problem-solving while trying to build different things. I could have some future engineers in the making! Thank you for your support of my students! They will be happy!
