My Students

My students are energetic and eager little learners who come to me each day with a desire to learn. My students are children of military parents and deal with so many more situations than most adults do due to the deployment of parents, moving every two to three years, and having to start over again. They are sponges just waiting to soak up whatever information that they can. I strive daily to provide them with a safe and inviting learning environment and make learning fun and relevant for them.

My Project

My classroom needs a LEGO table and a train set for my children to play with during free choice center time. I have tons of legos, but no go place to store them or play with them other than the floor. The table would be a solution for both and would provide a great place for imaginations to take flight. We haven’t had trains and I know that the kids would enjoy having a good old fashioned train set to play with. Free play is so important for young children. It’s a time to see their imaginations blossom and their creative juices flowing. I love to see all of the amazing masterpieces that they come up with!
