The students at my K-8 school are very diverse. All races, ethnic groups, belief systems, abilities and socio-economic statuses are represented. Our students are hard-working, innovative and are highly involved with technology.
Our students are imaginative, intelligent, critical thinkers that like to think outside the box.
They enjoy being given challenges for which they must come up with solutions. Our students are excellent team players and work well in teams.
The students at my school are involved in the community and like to make a difference in the world.
The APS Robotics Club is open to grades 3-8. We need at least 5 sets of the LEGO WeDo educational sets for the club. These basic robotics sets will be a wonderful stepping stone from the Robotix brand to the LEGO Mindstorms. These sets will allow our club members a chance to do some elementary building and programming. This experience will prepare them for the more sophisticated LEGO Mindstorms.
These LEGO WeDo sets will prepare our students for the 21st century work place.
They will give them a chance to do some real designing, building and programming at their level.
