This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are energetic and eager to learn. They love coming to school and learning from our dedicated staff of teachers and paraprofessionals. However, as a Title I school, I am asking for help to make sure each and every day they can reach their potential.

My wish for them is to have the richest elementary school experience possible so they can build a love of learning and exploring that will carry them through the rest of their academic career.

My Project

We are looking to expand our resources with 2 Lego WeDo robot kits. These kits will enhance their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and coding.

This will give them the coding experience beyond the screen.

My students will use their problem-solving skills to ask questions and design their own solutions to Lego challenges. Students will collaborate together to create robots in Library in which they will then bring to life with their coding skills.

This project will improve my classroom because it will give my students the opportunity to use and apply their programming skills to increase their logical reasoning
