Our students are exceptional! We are located in a small, rural town surrounded by tobacco, cotton, and sweet potato fields. Our school consists of 600 PreK-5th students, 30 teachers, and two administrators.
Our students are enthusiastic, creative, and goal oriented.
Over 78% of students receive free or reduced-price lunch. We have a large Hispanic population. Over 60% could be the first in their families to go to college. We are an AVID school, preparing students to be college ready.

My Project
What’s more exciting than Legos and Robotic? My students would say nothing! Imagine making your Lego creations come to life! That’s what my students will get to do when this project is funded.
Our new elementary STEM lab needs Lego We Do so students can learn robotics.
Each kit will allow 2-3 students to work together. They can be the builder, computer programmer, or recorder for the project. They can even use the kits to compete against another group. They will use 21 century skills such as coding, engineering, product design, construction, problem solving, creativity, and perseverance. Please help make this project become a reality!
