My Students

As a school with high levels of poverty it is important to level the playing field so that all students are given the same chances to excel and shine. I want to provide all of my students an opportunity to collaborate and investigate with the use of technology.

My students love working as a team to solve problems.

I want to create an environment that fosters that collaboration and communication. One that encourages chance taking and lesson learning when things don't go as they had planned.

My Project

My goal is for my students to see that tinkering with Legos can be more than just fun, it can be exciting and educational as well. Through the use this requested Lego WeDo, students can have their projects come a live and move around the room. They can code, or tell the Legos what to do and where to go. Students can create many tasks or jobs for their creation to do.

Coding can open into a whole world of technological experiences.

With coding, students can learn the basics of creating computer games which can lead into many jobs for the future.
