Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a Career and Technology teacher in a small, rural school. I graduated from this very high school, so I want the kids that are now coming through to know and understand that just become they come from a small school, doesn’t mean they can’t go to big places. I want to educate them on the vast changes within the field of STEM. I want these students to get all they can and then some! They are truly deserving of the new knowledge and skills that industries are looking for.

My Project

This technological devices will allow me to reach my students in a variety of ways. Not all students learn the same way so I want to be as innovative and creative as I can with the learning process.

Students will be much more engaged and will take ownership of their own learning because they will be able to learn at their own pace and through hands on learning and skill building.

This is a way of making learning fun and much more memorable. Students will love learning because they can see the lessons come alive and build upon their prior skills and knowledge.
