My Students

I am a rural computer science teacher passing along my passion for learning to my students through computer science.

My students are comprised of kindergarten through sixth grade throughout four elementary schools in our small rural school district.

These students are hard-working, driven individuals who have enjoyed all things technology that we as educators have placed in front of them, from coding to robotics to typing skills. Their thirst for knowledge is what will make working with these individuals so amazing.

My Project

Young children have the best imaginations and no where is this more evident than in computer science! Students in grades kindergarten, first, and second love to build and learn from their experiences.

With the LEGO coding expressions, students in the primary grades will have the opportunity to build collaboratively, problem solve, and then program their creation.

What better way to learn about engineering and technology then to build what we have read about? How to build a ....

The sky is the limit and so are the imaginations of our young students.

With these kits, all four elementary schools will be able to see what their young students can build and imagine!
