My Students

Our diverse school is a Lighthouse School, integrating the Seven Habits of Steven Covey. We enjoy creating and nurturing relationships with each other and with various community partners. They love being active learners, engaged in different ways both in and out of the classroom. Our classroom loves to learn and demonstrate learning through various technology programs and apps. We work and create in Google Suite to work on and practice our speaking, presentation and technology skills.

We also grow our cooperative abilities and sharpen our creativity through group projects and interaction.

My Project

I’ve been wanting a Maker Station in my classroom. I turned a coffee table into a Lego Table for my son and can make one for my classroom. The Legos are the most expensive part! These Lego items would be a great start. We would be able to creatively represent our learning and engage our brains in a non-traditional way in science and math. This could also be used as a reward or a sensory station as needed. We will even be able to enjoy it on those rainy and cold days during recess when we are unable to go outside. Thanks for considering a donation!
