My Students

Every child in my classroom loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best can vary greatly. My room incorporates a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating.

The various learning options are there to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

My students are truly incredible, and I am so thankful to have a group of 5th graders that are excited and ready to learn each school year! Thank you.

My Project

It’s well-known that LEGOS stimulates STEM education by fostering engineering, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. LEGOS can also help teach basic math skills-parts and whole, number sense, fractions, and analyzing data, to name a few. LEGOS teaches the science concepts of gears, pulleys, levers, wheels, and axles in a fun, hands-on format.

Creating more "Aha!" moments!

This project will give my classroom sets of LEGOS! They are loved at school and my classroom has never been able to get them and the opportunity is now! The hands-on learning with LEGOS engages students at every level, sparks creativity, develops critical thinking skills, ignites career possibilities — and is just plain fun!
