My Students

I teach 800 students ranging from Kindergarten to 4th grade. They are thoughtful and creative and enjoy making and innovating through design thinking. My students enjoy building robots, marble runs, race tracks, and other STEM related structures.

We are committed to developing students who are innovative problem solvers who are prepared to tackle the problems of the future.

Our students will be able to use technology as a tool to become highly skilled adults who can compete with the rest of the world.

My Project

If there is anything that is more suitable than LEGOs for a Makerspace class, I don't know what it is. Building is the cornerstone of the makerspace classroom. Students in my class build everyday.

My Students love building with LEGOs!

LEGOs allow students to be creative and build what is in their imagination. LEGO kits teach students to pay close attention to details and directions.

My students are going to work together to build Hogwarts. They will have to cooperate with each other and follow directions closely to make this structure from over 6000 pieces. They will learn about persistence and the joy fo accomplishment. Lego makes abstract STEM concepts tangible.
