My Students

I have the pleasure of working with young artists from Pre-k to 5th grade. Each student is so unique and they amaze me daily with all they can do. Their favorite day is when we do stations in the art room. They can’t wait for stations and I love watching them so involved in each activity. Working in stations gives them so much creative freedom and they do their best work.

My Project

Students will use these legos to create beautiful works of art. My vision is to have a lego wall with creations that can stay up and be added to and built upon daily. This will be a hands on collaborative on going project that I know my students will love to contribute to. We will use it to explore things like color, shape, space, line, and lots of other important elements of art. I can’t wait to observe the students working together in a medium that they never thought could be used for art!
