This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
This LEGO Table and blocks will encourage creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and persistence to help students develop important skills that they will use throughout their lives.
Connecting pieces of LEGO requires coordination and precision which assists in the development of fine motor skills.
Students learn how to share as well as communicate, which are crucial life skills students are developing in the classroom.
LEGO bricks provide a way for students to master many emerging skills, such as problem-solving, spatial skills, and understanding semi-complex tasks. Using LEGO bricks will help students learn different ideas, symmetry, shapes, design, explore sizes, and learn simple mathematics like addition, subtraction, sharing, and more.
