Help me give my students the opportunity to read and enjoy reading in Spanish. Having a variety of reading material available for students will definitely be essential to their obtaining literacy in the language of study.

My students are non-native speakers, learning Spanish at a Title 1 High School in New York City. They are at different levels of language learning and are in all grades (9 through 12). Most of them are at least 2 years into their educational journey of learning another language. After a long year of remote learning, my students need to be motivated and given multiple means to make up for learning loss. They are eager to learn and show great potential to succeed.
This year, we are attempting to build a classroom library to expand on our small short story collection. Having a variety of reading materials, students will be able to increase their reading and writing skills in Spanish.
Students will be able to focus on becoming literate in another language.
I want to give my students the opportunity to reach their literacy goals. Providing a collection of books in Spanish, should spark their interest and keep them reading both inside and outside the classroom. Students will be able to borrow books as if it were a regular library.
My students need to read and enjoy reading in Spanish. I am not a native speaker, and like my students, learned Spanish in a classroom setting. I believe my experience would have been enhanced if such enrichment material was available to me when I was a student.
