My students need a fog machine to add some drama to their next classroom project.

A year ago, two colleagues and I discussed the feeling that something was missing at our school. We needed another avenue of expression for our students, a place they could go to learn work ethic, collaboration, and self-confidence. Thus began the first drama program in our school's 20 year history. Our first show wrapped just over a week ago and immediately the talk of the school became, "What and when is the next show?".
We are building this program from nothing and need your help!
We are a Title I school in West-Central Georgia, serving 440 students in grades 6-8. The relationships we are building through Drama is our proudest achievement (student/student, teacher/student, administration/student, school/community).
A few additional highlights of our first year of Drama:
-60 students in Drama Club
-30+ auditioned for our first show
-28 participated as actors or technicians
-~100 students attended performances
-2 "standing room only" parent/community performances
-1 upcoming encore (for our district Superintendent, Partners in Education, local businesses, and invited parents and community members)
Our drama program is up and running. More and more students every day our joining, and we couldn't be happier. We are planning the school musical for next year and are looking to add some extra effects to our production.
Grand entrances require a little extra flare using special effects.
A fog machine would be a great addition to our school musical next year and for years to come. We have all experienced the surprise of a fog on stage and the anticipation of what might appear from the murky weather condition.
This specific fog machine not only provides fog, but also color lights to add to the drama. With any production you have to have the right tools to pull off the magic. Adding a fog machine to our bag of tricks will enhance the experience for our young middle school technicians, actors, parents, and patrons of our productions.
