My Students

The students in my classroom are fun-loving and high-energy. They are eager to learn and especially excited about reading and writing. My students come from a diverse background and they all bring their unique personalities to the classroom. They love sharing with each other and they are so caring. Throughout the year they truly become a family. They love collaborating on classroom projects and working together in centers.

My Project

The Elmo projector will help me show students what they need to do and make sure they understand their centers. With the Elmo projector, students will be able to stay on track and read with the teacher. We do a lot of choral reading and with so many different reading levels, it can be hard for some to follow along. It is also useful for teacher demonstration. 2nd graders need a lot of teacher modeling. The Elmo can display what the teacher is working on and show students step by step directions. It is also great for writing. 2nd graders have to learn proper handwriting as well as different writing styles. This projector could make such a difference in helping my students learn.
