Help me give my students a Reading Comprehension Instant Learning Center, The Allowance Game, Decorate-Your-Own Tote Bags, and various journals. These activities would be a great addition to our learning environment.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am currently in my first full year of teaching. I work with a wonderful group of second-grade scholars. We work so hard and the scholars are eager to learn as much as possible. We use many different strategies and could benefit from an increase in the supplies we have in the classroom to help increase learning possibilities and variations.
We are in a Title I setting.
I don't want this to hold my second graders back so I am hopeful that we are blessed with donations for classroom necessities. Parents provide as much as they can, I bring resources in also, however, I want to be able to provide even more for my scholars to improve our classroom and learning environment.
My Project
In my class, we come up with many ways to make learning more fun daily. While we have been managing, being able to add some fun games and interactive journals to our daily activities will allow and encourage the students to love learning even more. This project is one that my scholars and I really hope to have funded very quickly so that we can continue to have loads of fun in more ways.
I have included really cool, fun activities to help build a huge love for learning with items, such as Reading Comprehension Instant Learning Center, The Allowance Game, Decorate-Your-Own Tote Bags, and various journals.
These activities would fit so well for my scholars, based on the lessons we have done and some coming up in the near future. They would love learning more about money with The Allowance Game. The tote bags will be a better alternative to our current plastic book baggies to prevent the tearing. The reading comprehension center will also be a wonderful addition to our workshop time. We love having fun while learning, and these resources will provide more of this opportunity. Thanks in advance for your support.
