Help me give my students a virtual learning experience that exceeds their expectations! A new laptop will help me deliver lessons without lagging and glitching.

Our school motto is: Be strong, Be safe, Be a super owl! We are a family that believes in offering assistance to anyone in need. We are a very close-knit community, and everyone pitches in to help the students succeed. The kids are bright and energetic, and they give life to the school.
Imagine one day, you're preparing for field day and looking forward to kindergarten graduation only to learn that you may never return to school this year to see your classmates.
You dream of Fun Friday with your friends so you can build with legos, play with playdoh, and dance your heart out! After surviving Hurricane Harvey, these children are distance learning at 5 or 6 years old, just as their older brothers and sisters that are in high school and college. We meet virtually multiple times every week to share celebrations and keep our knowledge fresh.
Many of my students have parents that are classified as essential workers. They are still attending daycare and are sometimes unable to attend "class". When they do, I want their experience to be fulfilling and engaging!
My Kindergarten Kangaroos have been working incredibly hard using the assignments that I have given them in FlipGrid, Youtube, and Zoom. However, my learners would benefit greatly from me having a high performing laptop with sound and video capabilities to record video messages, reading passages, and lessons for them, and colorful pocket charts to increase their excitement & engagement.
This project will provide a laptop, colorful pocket charts, and hands on manipulatives that I can use to assist my students with their remote learning experiences for the rest of this school year & summer school.
This laptop will allow me the ability to record lessons and email them to the parents without worrying about RAM! The calendar math activity program and all about letters pocket chart will provide a seamless transition from school to distance learning. It is critical that the information that I display to my students is colorful & concrete in order to make an impression on the children that are easily distracted in their "at home environment".
