My Students

Our students are predominantly from low-income families. Parents are typically working two jobs to make ends meet. They don't have time in the day or space to allow messy activities.

Our students deserve every opportunity as any other children.

Our classroom is a unique opportunity. My classroom is a satellite for the local elementary school.

Our students want to be able to grow as a person and have pride in their learning so they can feel accomplished in what they are able to do!

My Project

The Active Play Kit will be taken outdoors during recess allowing much-needed games and materials to play. The Float and Find Activity will help students explore and learn the alphabet during sensory play. The portable cd player and storage area will house our equipment for our learning center. The write and wipe pockets allow students to use the same materials without using multiple printed sheets.

Children learn through play and they need resources to ignite their learning.

Materials create the foundation of the learning. Teaching techniques through planning and questioning help the student learn and grow through their play.
