Standards are set high for today's students. Students are expected to master high level skills and perform well on standardized tests. Luckily, technology makes it fun to learn and achieve these goals.
My students are amazing!
They step up to the challenge every day. They are the high achieving leaders of tomorrow. This wonderful group of kids come to school each day ready to learn and do well. But, there are a lot of them! 31 of them to be exact. I try to keep the classroom as an engaging fun place to learn. Technology helps me do this.
My Project
I am requesting educational software to use with my SmartBoard. The SmartBoard is an amazing tool to have in the classroom. We use it every day for many different purposes. I like to use the SmartBoard as part of my small group instruction. Students love the interactivity of it. This software will enable me to level the instruction at this center to meet individual needs. The software also follows the curriculum that I teach each day. I have requested a variety of activities in Language Arts as well as Math. All of my students would use this software on a regular basis to reteach, practice, and enrich the concepts we are learning about in class.
Meeting my students' individual learning goals is very important to me.
This software will facilitate my ability to do this, and students will learn while having fun. Thank you for considering this project.
