Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

What makes our students unique in this Pre-Kindergarten classroom, is that they come to us with a blank slate, and we fill their boards with academic knowledge. By the time they leave our classroom they are writing on their own slates. We are a Title I facility nestled in an urban community that serves the children in the neighborhood. Considering that we are a Cleveland public school, our neighborhood has more crime and homicide than the city’s statistics. With these odds, our scholars are still on time and ready to learn.

My Project

We are going through an educational crisis.

Teaching in a high poverty area a lot of my students cannot access my online classroom and virtual learning I have worked so hard to create due to a lack of technology and access to devices to use.

I will make sure if this project is funded that every one of my students receives their tablet even if I have to personally deliver.

PLEASE consider donating to this project. It is by FAR the most important one I have ever done. You will be providing my little kiddos with access to so much and access to their teacher as well.
