My students need additional iPads so that several students are able to access learning sites during independent time. In addition, my students would benefit from flexible seating options in the classroom.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are primarily diagnosed with Autism. However, I also have students who are diagnosed with a variety of other abilities: Learning disabled (LD) Language Impaired (LI), and Emotionally Disabled (ED). They all have varied learning styles and abilities.
Our school is in a low socioeconomic area where every student receives free breakfast and many receive free or reduced lunch.
Our school is the best place to learn and my students feel loved every day they walk into our classroom.
I teach in a Special Education classroom with a variety of abilities. In order for my students to learn, I must cater their education plans according to individual learning styles. One of my students is an auditory learner. He would benefit from a digital reading program using headphones. There has been success with him using a borrowed iPad. We must wait to borrow it when it is available. Another students requires a variety of flexible seating options besides a chair because of his motor planning concerns. We are working very hard on teaching him core strengthening techniques. Using a ball chair with him will help him to use his core to sit up straight and focus on his sitting positions.
