My Students
Our school is a Title I school in Las Vegas, Nevada. The school is able to offer 100% free breakfast and lunch to all of our students. As a new teacher, I noticed that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I am looking to keep things engaging and provide my students with a meaningful learning experience.
Sixty percent of my students are reading and writing below grade level.
I am hoping to encourage and motivate my students to embrace their learning experience.
My Project
Technology is essential to classroom instruction and enhances the learning environment. Chromebooks are the latest tool to further the lesson in the classroom for all students. As a teacher incorporating different ways to deliver a lesson is very important to engage all students. Students use the Chromebook to read books online and do their i-ready lessons.
My students have learned how to take care of all the supplies provided in the classroom.
They are so appreciative and do a good job to make sure they are used properly. The electric pencil sharpener will replace our broken one and the other classroom basic supplies will be use daily to complete assignments.
