My students are fun, caring, creative, and outgoing! They like to move; they love to read and love lots of positive attention. They are a very diverse group from all ability levels.
My diverse group of 25 learners comes from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and home lives who are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hoping to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
My Project
These kits will be a wonderful addition to the current technology available in my classroom. They give us the base foundation of materials needed to add additional Osmo kits in the future that will enhance student learning. The Genius Kit will allow my students the chance to learn and discover each day. Not only will they get to experience learning in an exciting way using awesome technology, but they will be able to navigate through many activities that give them the chance to create something unique to them.
From practicing their math fluency, to spelling practice, to creating their own projects, all students will benefit from these learning kits!
