Help me give my students Osmo, the award-winning educational game system for the iPad. Students will love experimenting, exploring, creating and collaborating with Osmo. Osmo allows students to learn and interact with digital games in a new way.
Students enter my classroom to think, create, and innovate with technology and STEM related concepts.
The bright minds of our school are yearning to grow and be challenged in a way like never before.
As a teacher of a low income area, I witness obstacles that our students overcome each day. There isn't enough funding to provide supplies to all classrooms to support STEM related concepts. This obstacle should never be a burden on the students. Regardless of the obstacles and lack of funding, our students are eager to learn and grow. They have shown that they learn best and take more ownership in their learning when working with hands on projects.
The Technology classroom strives to provide students with opportunities for learning by working with hands on activities encouraging students to think, create, and innovate.
My Project
Osmo will give our K-5 students an opportunity to learn by exploring and creating with content through play. Osmo gives students a way to build on the 4 C's of 21st Century Learning.
Osmo inspires creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication with hands on problem solving.
The educational game system will be used to provide learning opportunities for students in STEM, hand writing, word study, problem solving skills and more.
Students will continue to build their social emotional skills and the emotional understanding of their peers as they work together to solve problems with Osmo's educational games. Learning with Osmo will inspire students to continue to grow into 21st century learners.
