My Students
My students live in a suburban farming community in California. Our school serves a diverse community of kindergarten through fifth grade students. I have a class full of energetic and capable second graders. They are full of wonder and take great joy in learning. This is the year that they transition from learning to read and really begin reading to learn. I look forward to working with them this year and helping them realize their amazing potential. I am excited to see what the future holds for them.
My Project
My students love playing with our Osmo games. With two additional bases, more students will be able to play the games at the same time. The cases will help organize our Osmo games and supplies so that they are easily accessible.
My students love being able to choose where to work around the room.
New computer desk seats and floor cushions will provide more seating options for my students.
The concept of the equal sign is a seemingly simple one, but one that is tricky for students to fully understand. The book Equal Shmequal will help make the this concept easier to understand.
