My school is in a high poverty area. All my students qualify for free lunches.
The students come to school for not only an education, but for the meals and loving environment.
I pride myself as a teacher to make this experience at school the best it can be. I know every child learns differently and my job as a teacher is to help these kiddos feel loved and give them every opportunity to further their education.

My Project
We have incorporated morning tubs since the beginning of the year. As the year goes, our goals begin to change. I need our morning tubs to challenge my students as the curriculum gets harder. This time allows my students to engage with one another and gives another opportunity to learn. All morning tubs are hands on and aligns with our curriculum. This morning time allows me to pull students for one on one time, while my other students are still activity engaged and learning as well. Updating our morning tubs to meet our needs would be beneficial for my students.
