My Students

The students at our school come from the greater Charlotte area and have diverse backgrounds. We are so excited to develop our science program as we expand to our new Upper School campus. We look forward to building a program together where students are given the opportunity to explore hands-on science experiences guided by lab staff and community partners.

My Project

Our high school science curriculum frames science in real and meaningful challenges. Lab students do work, in class, done in real world jobs. This approach helps students to understand and practice skills that they will remember 20 years in the future! The microscopes and slides requested will help students truly explore the world of microbiology, giving them a first hand sense of the type of lab work they might expect if they go into life sciences.

The first step to fostering and growing future scientists is giving them the chance to feel like scientists.

These resources will support high school science today, and for many years to come!
