My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, fun and full of energy! They come from a colorful background of cultures and families. Many coming from single family homes, homes where they may be staying with other families, some living in foster care. However, they come to school each day with a growth mindset ready to try new things in order to grow both personally and academically. These students are truly amazing kids!

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

I am very lucky to get to work with these incredible students each day!

My Project

These LEGO bricks will provide my students with hands-on learning! The LEGO bricks will be incorporated into everyday learning as a fun way to engage my students with science, technology, engineering, and math.

My students' imagination will be opened to things they didn't know were possible for them to create while learning and collaborating with their peers!

By incorporating LEGOs into our everyday learning my students' fine motor skills will improve. This will then help other areas such as writing. I am very hopeful that these LEGO bricks will help my students grow in their learning even more! Thank you for considering helping me give my students LEGOs to promote STEM and hands-on learning!
