My school is home to a very diverse group of students; in fact, it is the most diverse elementary school in my district. We are also a Title I school. This means the majority of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Since the population of students in poverty is so large at my school, my students may not have the experiences other children may have. I want my students to have the same opportunities and resources that any other student would have.
My students need notebooks and pencils to create interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks allow students organize class notes and activities in a meaningful and purposeful manner. We will use the notebooks on a daily basis for each subject My students will be able to take the notebooks home to study as well as show their parent what they are learning about in class.
Students will also be able to look back on various topics they have learned about throughout the year.
Interactive notebooks also help teach students organizational skills. Please consider donating to my project to help my students receive these much needed supplies.
