This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are incoming sixth graders. It is always a joy seeing my "little" sixth graders grow up throughout their first year of middle school. As a sixth grade teacher, students often make their way to my room to hang out or clarify a lesson that might have been confusing.
All of my students are special because of their ability to care for one another when needed in the classroom.
My students are able to show their creative side through conversations with both peers and adults. They are always excited to try a new type of learning to keep them engaged.
They always get excited when they hear that we are going on a class trip and encourage their peers to come along for the experience. My students have accepted that experiences help shape who they want to become and they continue to show the desire to experience more.
My Project
Learning with color is something that no one will ever grow out of. These materials will help me continue to create visual resources for students. Each month students receive a new assignment calendar and each month, they will all be a different color.
With this new Hp printer, I will be able to create a bright library that is color labeled.
Students will have an organized classroom and access to print their writing on colored paper. Now I will be able to create even more resources as the new school year begins. Every learner will be able to grow and appreciate our classroom materials.
