Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My job is to provide my students with as many opportunities to learn as possible. I teach students who are open to learning and strive to grow all year. That is why I strive to provide my students the best tools to help their growing brains.
My students are creative, hardworking, clever and very motivated.
I focus on their potential and the growth that is gained throughout the school year. They are eager to learn, despite the different languages spoken in the classroom. My students are the future and I just want to see them succeed.
My Project
My students struggle in writing, typing, and having proper researching skills. I am requesting 5 Chromebooks so that I can set them up in a small group so my students can use them to improve in these areas. At this station, students will be able to practice writing, typing, and work on their researching skills. This will help improve these skills, and improve their confidence in their class work.
We practice writing, typing, and researching strategies everyday in the classroom.
The addition of technology will make it easier for my students to have access to technology without leaving the classroom. These devices will not only make learning easier on the students it will also make teaching easier for the teacher. By having the 5 Chromebooks in the classroom, it will boost the confidence of the students so they can learn and feel more confident as learners.
