My Students

I am beginning my sixth year in a Title I school teaching eager-to-learn second graders from a small town. When we come to class, I want them to love learning just as much as I do.

Making learning experiences fun and memorable is something I strive to do.

I teach 25 second graders each day. My students are from a small town where many don't have access to everyday technology. It is imperative that they start interacting with technology daily.

My Project

I am asking fa iPad and case. This iPad will stationed at the computers for student use. Students will be able to use it for AR testing and early finishers work. When students read a book they are required to take a reading comprehension test, with 25 kiddos our computers can only go so far. Having an extra tablet will make the process more efficient. Other than taking comprehension tests students will be able to do remedial work as needed for any subject, early finishers will be able to advance their skill set as they complete and master a skill. I will be able to enable math and reading stations into our lessons with the iPads.
