This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach high school juniors and seniors who work at least fifteen hours a week while going to school. My students work very hard to keep up with their school work, extra curricular activities and social life going while they work. Most of my students pay for their own school activities, while some also help their families make ends meet.

I have students from all walks of life.

Some work to have extra spending money while others work to pay for their rent. They come from all socio-economic backgrounds and we strive to even out the playing field by providing instruction on the latest technology available to improve their marketability in today's ever-changing job market.

My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advances in technology through 3D printing projects. Students will create their own businesses and manufacture products to sell. The students in the class will be able to create their masterpieces on these iPads as they brainstorm with team members.

Student creativity will flow as they use the iPads for ideas.

Students will enjoy working in their creative teams to build their businesses. All their ideas will be at their fingertips with the iPads in their groups. By having these tablets, the students will be focused and revitalized as any interaction with technology lights a fire for these kids.
