Learning While Listening and Moving

My students need Califone Stereo headphones and Neorok Stools to work on their technological devices around our classroom. They will also use the Neorok stools to remain engaged while working!

My Students

My students are culturally diverse and come from low income areas in Northeastern, NC. They are very active and love to dive deep into their learning of their curriculum. They are an inquisitive group of students that uses a wide variety of cooperative learning structures that I have in place. My students are eager to move around the classroom and at times outside to remain focused and active for the task at hand. I instill active learning is forever learning, and they enjoy every minute.

My Project

Califone headphones will allow my students to remain prepared for learning while interacting with their Chormebooks. Many of my students do not come to school with the necessary materials. These will ensure they are prepared and will not have to stress over having them. They will also use their headphones to create songs and raps to learn new information.

Neorok Stools will increase my students engagement while they are working on their devices around our classroom.

They are consistently moving around our room throughout our day. I am working towards removing all our industrial school issued chairs as they are difficult to move around. They are uncomfortable and not suited for keeping children engaged while learning.
