My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! I love when the school year starts, and you can tell how eager each student is to start off on the right foot in a new and exciting environment. This year I'm fortunate enough to take on the roll of ESL teacher. I will be able to work with 6th, 7th and 8th grade English language learners. We have many students who are 1st and 2nd year students. I want all of my students to feel comfortable and welcome in my room!

My Project

My students are English Language Learners. I want to make my classroom as inviting and comfortable as possible. I believe if my students are comfortable they will want to pick up a book to read or complete the assignment they are struggling with. I have faith that by giving them just a little more than the basics they will want to do more in the classroom.

The requested World Map carpet is going to be a great spot for the kids to lay and read, and the Faux Fur Saucer Chairs will be a fun place to take a clipboard and work!

These are some of the most hardworking students I've ever had the pleasure of teaching. I hope, with your help, I can give them this gift!
